Physical Examination/Patient Health Consultations
There is no substitute for regular visits to your veterinarian to detect disease in its early stages as well as to implement vaccination protocols, parasite prevention, dental hygiene, and other problems that safeguard your pet from costly and sometimes fatal diseases.
Your doctor will do a thorough examination from head to toe and discuss nutrition, behavior, care, and management, along with any medical needs your animal may have.
Vaccinations
Our hospital only utilizes the most advanced and quality vaccines manufactured by Zoetis. These are imperative to the prevention of disease in your pets so they can live a healthy, happy life. All dogs and cats are at risk of exposure to various infectious diseases, some of which are life-threatening. Other such diseases, some of which are life-threatening. Others such as rabies also pose a public health risk. Vaccination to help prevent common infectious diseases supports the first goal of medicine - disease prevention. Prevention of infectious disease is more beneficial to your pet than treating disease once it occurs. In general, viral infections cannot be treated, but symptoms may be managed by medication. Preventive vaccines are one of the most reliable and cost-effective methods of health care available for pet owners.
Puppy & Kitten Packages
Our Puppy Plan & Kitten Plan are a great and affordable way to get the newest additions to your family on the right track of health. From the first round of their vaccinations to watching them grow into an adult, our packages have been designed to cover all the necessary prevention needed to protect the new member of the family. If your pet has an injury or falls ill this package does not cover the cost of care. We would recommend an insurance company for your pet if you would want this type of care covered. (Please call for more information or pricing.)
Microchipping
One of the worst feelings in the world is not being able to find your furry friend. This is the best way to prevent the heartache of losing an animal. It is a quick and painless injection of a small identification device under the skin that will have all of your information stored should your pet ever become lost. In the same respect, should you ever find an animal with no visible identification, we do have a microchip scanner to identify any lost animals brought in that have a microchip. The cost of the microchip includes the registration with HOMEAGAIN to ensure proper registration is done the first time.
Dental Assessment
Dental assessments are a quick and easy way to get an idea of what your pet could benefit from to improve their oral health. Education on brushing, rinsing, and routine cleanings can be discussed. We want to help our clients understand the levels of plaque, calculus, and inflammation present and how to fight against ongoing periodontal disease earlier than later before surgery is the only option. We recommend dental assessments on all patients regardless of age if you think something doesn't look right, or just want more information on what to do and preventative care information and assistance.
Dental Care
It is no secret that that the care and health of your pet's dental needs are our top priority, because of this, we have our anesthesia free teeth cleaning services from Animal Dental Care. Each month a Dental Care Technician comes to our clinic to perform teeth cleanings, without the use of anesthesia. This procedure is affordable and helps to maintain your pet's oral health with routine cleanings to get rid of excess plaque & tartar that can build up quickly.
For more serious Dental problems that may require surgery, we have the latest technology for anesthetic dentistry with the opportunity to perform full-mouth dental radiology to assist in finding problems that we are unable to see with the hidden eye. Our advanced training and dental machinery allow us to cut down the time of most dental surgeries with a quicker recovery time.
Laboratory Services
Our clinic offers a full diagnostic laboratory with the capability of running several types of analysis in under 20 min. We can run complete blood counts, partial or full chemistries, parvovirus, and canine/feline pancreatitis snap tests. We also can run heartworm & tick panels, FeLV/FIP, and many other tests to help in the diagnosis of your pet's concern. Should a more extensive test need to be done, we can send out the labs to a veterinary diagnostic laboratory and typically have results within 24 hours.
